Vintage Butterfly Chair for Outdoors or Inside Your Home

Second Shout Out

I was about 10 years old and my Mom bought 4 of them. I remember to this day what I was thinking when she put them on our patio.  I thought “what on earth are these”. My Mom told me they were cheap and on sale and that was the reason she bought them. I remember curling up in one and I began loving them. Now about 20 years later I bought two of them for our outside deck from Circa50. However they aren’t all that cheap anymore. Boy how time changes.  These chairs look great inside your home. You can create a vintage contemporary look and even change the cotton cover to a leather or cowhide cover. Below check out the info where to buy and clink on link. I’ve posted a picture of the two I bought that are now on our outside deck. I absolutely love them!!!

The Vintage Butterfly chair, designed in 1938 by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy, also known as the BKF and the Hardoy chair, is available in matte black or stainless steel.

Ciao for now
