Relaxed Vintage Farmhouse Style

I love decorating in relaxed vintage farmhouse style because it forces me to practice contentment. Much like those of old, I make do with what’s had yet am constantly working, arranging, collecting and creating to get everything “just right”.

This only adds to the thrill of the hunt. The patience needed to find the perfectly imperfect piece and the elation when it is finally discovered.

Sometimes patience runs dry and one must improvise or create something anew. This is how most of the products in my shop are born.

Sometimes the perfect piece looks a little too perfect and it must be roughed up a bit to blend in.

What is the very best part of decorating in this style? You never know what treasure is awaiting you right around the corner. Sometimes you don't know you need it till you see it, but once you find it you know it's been in your heart all along.
