Cruzin in a Vintage Mercedes Benz

My husband collected a 1970 Vintage Mercedes Benz 280 SEL and I was driving it yesterday around town and realized that when you drive a car like this you shouldn’t be in a hurry to get some where and that you should kick back and enjoy the ride. I was cruzin to Compo Beach and I had people honking for me to go faster, all I could do was turn up the song that was playing on the CD, “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles…. What a fun ride.

The Mercedes-Benz W108/W109 model series was a large luxury car line built by Mercedes-Benz from 1965 through 1972. The W108/W109 was a replacement for the higher end of the "Fintail" sedan range, with three-box styling similar to the W111/W112 coupes. The somewhat controversial fins of the so-called earlier W111 "Heckflosse" were eliminated by designer Paul Bracq.
